Welcome to Going Forth!

Beginning January 2008, I assume the responsibilities of Good News Lay Leader for the next 3 years. One of my initial objectives is to provide additional methods for our members, visitors and friends of our church stay connected with the events at GNUMC. Going Forth: Chronicles of Good News is my first step. The purpose of this blog is to provide a consistent source of information and to share stories that highlight the ministries, missions, events and people of GNUMC. The objectives of Going Forth are to inform, enlighten and connect people with the ministries of Good News from Sunday afternoon to Saturday night.

The daily bible verse updates daily! :) There will always be something new at Going Forth. Additionally, we are looking to put a new face on our church website. With the objective to keep it informative, clean and simple. This is not of my doing. There are other angels at work for updating the website. Keep watching the website as it changes over the next few months.
